The Glamour Beauty Edit – Unboxing

I have been in the beauty blogging world for a while now and I thought it was about time that I delved into the world of beauty box’s. I was still a bit skeptical of the idea as it is quite a bit of money for products you may/or may not like so I decided to start out with a non-subscription beauty box to see how it goes. And I have to say I am quite impressed. The Glamour Beauty Edit box has fantastic packaging , it’s like opening a present!! For more information on all the products click here.

The box itself was easily damaged in the mail and unfortunately couldn’t be reused as one side had broken completely but other than that the box has a sleek and minimalist design.

I love the added touch of the white crepe paper and black ribbons along with the sticker to keep it all together. It adds to the whole present unwrapping feel and keeps everything in the right place.

Once you get though the white paper this is what greets you. A box stuffed full of beauty and skin care products. Haircare, Skincare, Makeup and Tanning products which I wouldn’t have necessarily picked out myself but will enable me to try them out for a discounted price. I am yet to try the BB Instant Tan as I am a bit weary that it might be a bit too dark for me, and I am also conscious of going from pasty pale to tan. Out of all the products here are some of my favorites below:

The first product that I really like the look of is the Bourjois cream blush in O1 Nude Velvet. I have always seen them in the shops but never been willing to buy  them as I am never quite sure to apply cream products but I am willing to give it a try.

Next, is the Crabtree and Evelyn Nail Lacquer. I have never tried any products by C&E before so I am really looking forward to using this.

I am always looking for new skin care products to try out as I still haven’t found the perfect one for me. This DHC Cleansing Oil might be the one!

Again another company that I have always looked at in awe but never purchased. llamasqua. This full-sized lipstick is the perfect nude shade for my skin tone and I look forward to wearing this to the office in the future.

Last but not least is the Magnifibres Instant Brush On Fake Lashes. I am really intrigued to see how this works and how much effect it has on my lashes.

I am really happy that I decided to buy a beauty box as it has introduced me to some brands that I never would have thought of trying.
