Nars Laguna and Orgasm – The Review

IMG_7539

Bronzers and Blusher weren’t really my thing up until about a year ago. I would steer clear of Bronzers at all costs and often found myself at a loss as to the shade of blush to go for.

I love the sleek and compact packaging of the Nars products and find the inclusion of a mirror to be perfect for on the go application.

Nars, again a brand that I hadn’t tried anything from but had always heard good things. The first thing I purchased was the Nars Orgasm blush. This incredibly pigmented blush is a lovely pink colour. The blush even has a shimmer to it which can highlight the cheeks. Whilst this product does require a fair amount of blending to achieve a flawless finish it is by far my favourite blush product to date. There is plenty of product and it has lasted me a long time so far and that is with everyday use.

Bronzer is something I only purchased about 6 months ago and this is my first and only foray into the product. I chose the Laguna Bronzer because I have really enjoyed using my blush from Nars and thought that it would be equally pigmented. I have always been really pale and have always wanted to experiment with Bronzers and Tan and this is the perfect introduction. Perfect for a light skin tone, it leaves me with a sun-kissed glow. It doens’t leave your orange or muddy looking like some other bronzers can do. IN the pot the bronzer looks shimmery however once blended in the shimmer is lost on the skin.

The bronzer and blush both last about 8hrs before they start to disappear which is really good staying power for powders.

I think these are definitely 2 Nars products that live up to the hype and recognition they have built up over the years and I will definitely be repurchasing once these two run out.
