If you follow me on Instagram you may know that I travelled to London in September to celebrate my 22nd Birthday. On my Birthday I travelled to Oxford St Selfridges to get my makeup done by the lovely girls at Charlotte Tilbury (post to follow). I couldn’t help but splurge on a few of the products that they used on me that day – I find it really hard not to buy makeup ok?!
I have tried a few of the Matte Revolution Lipsticks in the past in Red Carpet Red and Glastonberry but wanted to expand my collection with some non-lipstick related purchases.
I have always wanted to purchase the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow and was thrilled when I got to see what it looked like during my makeover. This is perfect to warm up my naturally pale skin tone and add definition to the face. Bronze and Glow gives a lovely glow to the skin. The highlighter is my favourite out of the two as it is a lot darker and blendable than some drugstore alternatives I have tried which tend to be too shimmery.
The second product I picked up was also used on me during the day. It is the Rock Chick Eye-shadow Quad. These palettes are super easy to use as they have been colour code to make sure you can use them in the correct order for the perfect smokey eye in 4 steps – Prime, Enhance, Smoke and Pop. The colour combination is great for a smokey eye. All four shades are easy to blend and highly pigmented, although the glitter shade has a smidge of fallout.
I haven’t used the Rock Chick Palette as much as I would have liked so far, but I have been using Filmstar Bronze and Glow and I’m in love!
What is your favourite Charlotte Tilbury Look? And what is your go to Tilbury Product?
