Top 10 Male TV Characters

Anyone who knows me will know that I spend a LOT of time watching TV whether it be live or catching up on Netflix. I watch a huge variety of shows from Comedies to Dramas and everything in between so I thought I would share with you my favourite men for #mancrushmonday. So without further ado and in no particular order here are my top 10 favourite male TV characters.

Caleb Rivers (Pretty Little Liars and Ravenswood) – Tyler Blackburn plays this ‘reformed’ bad boy with mad computer skills. He is serious boyfriend material and has been snapped up by two of the Liars already throughout the series. Whether you need him to hack into someone’s computer, be there with you when you get scared shitless or give someone a fright for you he’s your man! Long Hair or short – who cares when he’s being your protector from the evil A.

Neal Caffrey (White Collar) – Matt Bomer perfectly plays a world class art forger and conman who ends up working as a consultant for the FBI in exchange for his release from Prison. A ladies man with a large collection of suits and fedoras Neal is suave and sophisticated and encompasses everything those social media posts about men in suits are all about.

Mike Ross (Suits) – Patrick J Adams plays this smart talking fraudulent lawyer with a photographic memory. Whilst he is committing a felony each and every time he enters the office, Mike has his clients best interests at heart and brings a very caring atmosphere into the firm.

Harvey Specter (Suits) – Gabriel Macht plays Harvey Specter, named partner at Pearson Specter Litt who hired Mike in the first place and has been wracked with guilt ever since. Harvey is a smart and fast talking, golden boy of the firm who is always brought into the big cases to close them quickly and efficiently.

DCI John Luther (Luther) – The legend that is Idris Elba plays DCI Luther who works for a Serious Crimes Unit in London. The job always comes first for John and he takes each and every case to heart. He exudes confidence and cockiness and tries to protect the ones he loves.

Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory) – Jim Parsons plays this annoying yet insanely cute and lovable science nerd! Whenever I need cheering up with a mixture of intelligent TV I always choose the Big Bang Theory. From his mannerisms to his childlike behaviour everything about Sheldon just makes you smile.

Michael Scofield (Prison Break) – Wentworth Miller plays Michael Scofield in all seasons of Prison Break, in which Scofield commits a crime in a bid to get entered into the same prison as his brother so he can help him to escape. Intelligent and caring, Scofield isn’t your typical inmate and becomes the leader of a group of convicts hoping to escape the penitentiary.

Oliver Queen (Arrow) – Stephen Amell plays Oliver Queen the billionaire former playboy who spends his days scouring the streets for bad guys as the Arrow. He’s got a body to die for (I mean look at those abs!) and a brooding personality to match but his most endearing quality is his unreserved protectiveness of his friends and family.

Barry Allen (The Flash) – Grant Gustin plays titular speedster the Flash and encompasses the perfect balance of humour and seriousness. After the particle accelerator exploded Barry was gifted with super speed which he uses to fight meta humans, his determination and family values are what stand out the most.

Jake Ballard (Scandal) – Scott Foley plays this troubled member of B613 who is constantly vying for Olivia’s attention. Wake up and smell the roses Liv, why you off chasing the prez when this hottie is banging on your door! #justsayin

Just want to give a quick shout out to Chad Michael Murray… Who plays the gorgeous Lucas on One Tree Hill! Also Colin O’Donoghue who plays Killian Jones on Once Upon a Time. Good choices, me thinks 😉 xxx
