Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette

I’m sure a lot of beauty bloggers will agree that cleaning your brushes is the job that I always dread at the end of the week. Finding a perfect time that I don’t need any makeup and time I can be bothered to deep clean is hard to come by! I’ve always been eyeing up options to make it easier – like spot cleaners and palettes. When I saw that Real Techniques were bringing out a brush cleaning palette I had to give it a shot as I had been using my hand years!

I am huge fan of Real Techniques products (most of my brushes are RT) and anything that Sam and Nic Chapman produce on YouTube so I was eager to give this a shot. Made from Silicon it is perfect for multiple uses, and has a hand strap which is perfectly sized and fits on your hand. It comes with three different sections complete with three different types of nodules to ensure a deep clean for brushes of any shape and size.

It comes with two sample sizes of their cleaning gel, which I am yet to try. The principle still stands with good old soap and water. Squeeze a small amount of product onto the palette and add some water and swirl the brushes around until they are all sparkly and new looking. The use of different textures meant that my brushes were actually quicker to wash than usual which is definitely a pro!

This is really good value for money and looks like it will save me a lot of time in the long run!

Now I should probably stop talking about washing my brushes and actually go and do it, they definetly need it!

Have you tried the RT palette or another cleansing product? Let me know below.

Until Next Time,

  1. You’ve just inspired me to clean mine to! I use one of these and think it is such a good product. I use the Estée Lauder makeup brush cleaner, it’s not to pricey and it does a good job!
