July in Books

A few weeks ago I did a post all about how to get back into reading, and I think I myself have succeeded in this task. Each month I plan to do a post similar to this showing you what books I have managed to get stuck into that month.

Calm – Calm the mind, Change the world by Michael Acton Smith

A beautifully designed book which you can either read cover to cover or just dip into any time you fancy. I can see why others love this book however I do believe the app is better and has been more effective in de-stressing and helping with anxiety.

Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter by Louise Pentland

I love lifestyle books and this is no exception, now whilst I am under no illusion that this is not a book aimed at my demographic, I actually really loved it! The themes are universal throughout life so are easily transferable. The illustration and book are super cute and the contents would be really good for younger teens. Inspirational book all about choosing happiness for yourself and others and it also inspired me to do a whole room clear-out! Money well spent in my opinion!

50 Ways to Yay by Alexi Panos

This is a game-changer – Alexi is such an inspirational human being who just makes you want to better yourself. With lots of little tasks after each chapter it really pushes you to apply the concepts to your every day life. And whilst some of the steps don’t work for me, there are some that sit with my life perfectly. It really made me process my thoughts differently.

What books have you read this month? Let me know in the comments below:

Until Next Time,
