A few months ago, I headed to M&S with my parents for a food shop. I totally forgot that they did makeup until we stumbled across the beauty section, which I was subsequently left in whilst the parents went off in the pursuit of food. I saw a Stila stand and headed straight for that as I have always heard good things. I have never tried anything from that brand until now! I purchased the Eyes Are The Window palette in Spirit. The palette is inspired by the spiritual idea that true beauty comes from within and includes 12 luxurious shades.
The shadows are presented in a jewellery-inspired compact of rose, yellow or white gold which is just so cute on my makeup table. It has a massive mirror which is always a bonus and makes this beauty perfect for travelling.
I love the shade range in this palette, it really is one fits all as it includes some good nude and shimmer shades as well as some to help you create the perfect smokey eye. The twelve shades are as follows:
- Kitten, Puppy, Pigalle
- Oasis, Jezebel, Barefoot
- Wheat, Golightly, Espresso
- Chinois, Slate, Pewter
I have been using this palette everyday for the past few weeks and have been loving the combination of: Kitten, Golightly and Chinois. I am also starting the experiment with Pigalle which is the lovely berry shade. The shades themselves are well pigmented and easy to blend and is the perfect palette to take you from day to-night wear.
Overall, I am really impressed with this Stilla palette and cannot wait to delve further into the range.
