Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel

I spend a LOT of time in Winchester and they have just recently opened up a SpaceNK! Thank the lord! Gone are the days of having to order online or trapes to London or Brighton to get my SpaceNK fix!

I was having a leisurely browse in there the other day and saw the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel – now this is one of those products that everyone always raves about online and I have always been tempted to try but just never got round to it.

I had some money to spend so I thought this would be the perfect time to give a test drive!

Unlike a lot of the cleansers I have tried in the past it is a non-foaming cleanser and is a Gel. The product comes in a big white bottle with a pump which is easy to use and isn’t messy. Inside the cleanser is an orangey/pink colour which once applied to dry skin turns from a gel into more of an oil. If you add water before you wash it off with a muslin cloth it turns into a white milk.

It an be used as a second cleanse or even to remove makeup which is how I have been using it most recently as my heavy duty cleanser has run out! It does a good job of removing makeup but my skin feels a lot better if I use it as a second cleanse.

The gel is packed with vitamins and promises to:

  • Deeply cleanses pores and thoroughly remove dull skin cells without irritation for a bright, balanced complexion.
  • Helps improve elasticity & firmness while restoring and enhancing the lipid barrier.
  • Wonderful anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory to help protect and repair delicate and damaged skin.

I can definitely say that my skin has felt smoother and softer and even a little bit tighter and brighter.

Despite all the hype – this isn’t the best cleanser I have ever tried and would definitely favour my Clinique Take the Day off Balm which is a LOT cheaper!

Have you tried Oskia’s cleansers? Let me know your thoughts below

Until Next Time,
