Restaurant Review

Bills – Now in West Quay

Southampton is where it’s at! In the last few weeks a whole new section of West Quay has opened up which hosts a whole bunch of new and exciting restaurants, bowling alley and a cinema.

I have wanted to try Bills for ages but every time I head to Brighton it is always super busy so I give it a miss. Me and some friends from school were looking for a place to have a catch up lunch so I thought it would be the perfect spot!

The venue is super spacious, the staff extremely friendly and the service was really quick. We had booked a table in advance and were seated immediately into a big booth which meant we had plenty of room.

I had the Bills Pink Lemonade which was lovely and refreshing and came in a glass with strawberries floating in the lemonade which was a nice touch! I also ordered the Halloumi and Hummus Brioche Bun which was a lovely toasted bun with grilled Halloumi, roasted red peppers, sweet chilli sauce, cumin yogurt and fries. I also added Guacamole for a little bit extra! It was such a nice meal and everything was in generous supply – just enough Halloumi and peppers but maybe a smudge too much hummus. At £10.75 it isn’t going to break the bank either.

Bills serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and my parents and I are looking at going back to try out their breakfast’s soon!
