I have always loved travelling with my family! I have been so fortunate to see some amazing places, eat some amazing food and meet some amazing people. But this is the year I have well and truly caught the travel bug! I now have a list as long as my arm of places that I would LOVE to visit! Here are just a few I hope to cross off my list in the next two years (ambitious I know but you may as well aim high!)
Rome – I absolutely adore Italy and I have been fortune to visit it many times but I have never visited Rome before. It has been top of my bucket list for so long I can’t wait to cross this one off. Steeped in history, this is the perfect location for a weekend getaway and eat all the pizza, pasta and gelato in sight! I would love to explore the streets like a local as well as visit all the touristy spots like the Trevi fountain, Coliseum and the Pantheon.
Corsica – Through blogging and fandom I am lucky enough to have friends all over the world. One of whom lives in the beautiful island of Corsica. The pictures I have seen are absolutely stunning! It seems like the perfect location to enjoy a much needed relaxing break.
Amsterdam – Another perfect destination for a weekend away! Again the Netherlands is a country I have visited but I have never visited Amsterdam. I want to see the tulips in the spring, visit Anne Frank house and go to all the instagrammable locations in sight.
New York – This has been at the top of my travel wishlist for as long as I can remember. I want to take a leisurely stroll in central park, see the epic views that are statue of liberty and brooklyn bridge, I want to hit up time square, visit the empire state building, 911 Memorial, do all the shopping possible and see my fair share of broadway shows.
Milan – Another Italian city I have been dying to visit! And if a certain convention makes a round 3 I may have the opportunity to visit next year! I would love to see the last supper, do a little bit of shopping, eat all the italian food and visit the Cathedral.
So thats the list of places I would love to visit very soon.
