Best to Binge – Top Netflix TV Shows

Autumn is here and winter is coming! It’s the perfect time to snuggle up under the duvet and crack open a tv show box set to while away the cold and dark nights!

Here are just a few of the best things I’ve binged watched over the last few weeks:

Raising Dion S1

One of the newest additions to Netflix is Raising Dion which stars Michael B Jordan and the brilliant Alisha Wainwright! The show centres around Dion as he navigates life without his dad. With the help of his mum Nicole he discovers that he has supernatural powers that he is finding hard to control! Floating Cheerios are one of the few awesome things Dion can do! Nicole try’s her hardest to keep Dion safe and unexposed but it’s not always easy.

Shadowhunters S1-3

It will come as no surprise to long-standing readers! Shadowhunters is my ALL TIME FAVE, my ride or die TV show and more people need to binge it! The show has now finished after being prematurely cancelled so you can watch the story from start to finish! The show follows a girl named clary who on her 18th birthday discovers that her mother had kept a whole world of secrets from her, the shadowworld where angels and demons exist and she was born with angel blood making her part of a group who fights demons, the Shadowhunters. Together with the help of Shadowhunters Jace, Alec, Isabelle and her best friends Simon and Luke she learns to navigate the new world in front of her! A show with such amazing rep – LGBTQ, People of Colour, Religious Rep, strong women, vulnerable men and much more!

Alexa and Katie S1&2

a US comedy sitcom centering around the life of two teenage best friends when they discover that one of them has cancer. It follows their two families who live next door to each other and how they navigate their teenage years, through treatments, first kisses and school dances.

Kim’s Convenience S1-3

I fell in love with this show! The episodes are so short and I got hooked. The show follows a Korean-Canadian family who run convenience store in Toronto, and shows how they deal with customers, each other and the evolving world around them.

Lucifer S4

when fox initially announced that lucifer was cancelled it was a sad sad day but Netflix saved the day by bringing us a final few seasons. The first being season 4. The series follows Lucifer, the original fallen angel lucifer who after becoming dissatisfied with his life in hell abandones his throne and retires to Los Angeles where he becomes the sidekick to a detective. I love how this season brought in Eve, the original woman! She was a great addition. The show is the perfect mix of comedy, heartfelt moments and fight scenes.

Selling Sunset

I love a good bit of scripted reality and Selling sunset is the perfect mix of property show and drama! Selling Sunset showcases the drama at The Oppenheim Group, where elite real estate brokers sell the luxurious life to their affluent buyers.

I am always looking for the next thing to binge watch so let me know down below what is your fave to curl up under a duvet for!
