With the whole world having practically ground to a halt a lot us have a lot more free time on our hands and what better way to spend it than to be reading!
I’ve been getting into reading on my kindle more these days and the lovely publishers on NetGalley recently sent me some ARC’s (Advance Reader Copies) to review for you guys!
They are all romance! You know me I’m a sucker for it. So here are a few of my favourites that are either recently released or due out soon!
We Just Clicked by Anna Bell (OUT NOW)
We Just Clicked was my first read from Anna Bell and I adored it.
It follows Izzy and Luke who are work colleagues that want more from life. They want a stratospheric rise to fame on Instagram and believe the way to get there is to pretend to be in a relationship. But what happens when Izzy meets Aidan and develops something worth more than likes on a post?
This is a heart warming emotional rollercoaster that had me gripped from start to finish!
The Gravity of Us by Phil Stamper (OUT NOW)
I’ve heard so much about this book and I couldn’t wait to pick it up. space, romance and mental illness rep, what’s not to love!
The story follows Cal whose Dad signs up to be a NASA astronaut. As they move from Brooklyn to Houston they unwillingly enter a media circus that surrounds the NASA programme. Whilst there, Cal meets Leon another ‘astrokid’ and he immediately falls for him.
The characters warmed my heart and I loved the in-depth look into the space missions as well as the look into the detrimental effect of social media and reality tv.
Cal and Leon’s relationship will make you feel all the warm and fuzzies I promise you! I read it in one day I loved it that much!
Hadley Beckett’s Next Dish By Bethany Turner (OUT NOW)
Anyone who loves MasterChef, Bake Off, My Kitchen Rules you’ll love this book!
The story follows two cooking channel favourites Hadley and Max, one is a channel favourite southern belle and the other is an angry playboy. After a major blow out on favourite chef the two must work together on Renowned the show that promises to immortalise their careers for years to come, can they put their differences aside and save each other careers.
I absolutely adored this book and as always the enemies to lovers trope was extremely well done! The epilogue filled me with all the warm and fuzzies.
The novel is out now so make sure you pick up your copy now for a quick summer read for all the foodies out there!
The Love Square by Laura Jane Williams (Out 29 June 2020)
Ever since I read OurStop I’ve wanted to read something by Laura Jane Williams and this book didn’t disappoint. A quick and easy summer read with a cute premise.
Penny Bridge has always been unlucky in love and things she will be single for the foreseeable future until a man changes all that…… and then another….. and another. Penny finds herself in a lovesquare but are any of her options THE ONE!
I really enjoy Williams’ style of writing and it is a good fluffy Rom com which also highlights some important topics of cancer, infertility and sexuality.
A sunset in Sydney by Sandy Barker (Out 3rd July 2020)
A great quick summer read for everyone longing for romance. Set between Sydney, London and Hawaii this is perfect for anyone missing travel.
Sarah has herself stuck between two men and the “who will she choose” storyline will have you gripped throughout and I am very happy with her choice at the end.
I only realised this was part of a series later on in the book but I don’t feel I missed anything by not having read the rest of the book.
And that’s a wrap on my most recent kindle NetGalley reads!
I absolutely adored each of these and think you should give them a try!
